Jerry is taking part in 4H this year through a mentoring program at his school. A big part of the program is parent involvement, and the first family activity was a visit to the Central Carolina Fair. The four of us got free admission, free wristbands for the rides, and even free food tickets! The day started off rainy, so the fairgrounds were basically empty. It was an awesome day – no waiting in lines, front row seats at the pig races, and our first ever deep fried Snickers bar.
