To say I was nervous for my first official photo shoot would be an understatement. I am confident that I can take good pictures, but what if I didn’t get a single good shot? I suppose the butterflies helped me be ultra-prepared – in the days leading up to the shoot, I made endless lists in my head of all the shots I wanted, pose ideas, and what to take with me. I was nervous but ready.

But it’s not really about me is it? My cousin Laura and her fiance Jim were so easy and fun to work with! They were excited, they looked great, and they were just so sweet with each other. Add to that the great backdrop that is The American Tobacco Campus, and it turned out to be a great day!
