I met Paige a few years ago at a Spinning Guild meeting. Although we haven’t seen each other since then, we have followed each others blogs. She is an amazing quilter and knitter, and all around crafty gal. When I announced that I was looking for volunteers for family photos, Paige offered to help right away. It took us a while to actually schedule our photo shoot, but I am so glad we finally set a day and time!
We met Sunday morning on the campus of Wake Forest University. WOW, it was a gorgeous morning and the campus was beautiful and mostly empty of people! Unfortunately, her husband couldn’t make it, but I got to meet her two awesome kids, Cranford and Emery. They were both a pile of fun, who kept me on my toes the whole time! They were at turns both sweet and silly. At one point I asked Cranford, who’s 6, to sit on his butt. His eyes got really big and he stared at me and I realized I had just said a Very Naughty Word. Sorry, Paige! Emery, who is not yet 2, was so, so interested in all the steps to walk up and down all around the campus. I love watching little toddlers going up and down steps. He was adorable.
And now, the pictures! Thanks, Paige, for letting me spend the morning with you and your little men!
