Girl wanted a puffy coat, but all she got was this fleecy one from Costco. I had already started the purple mittens, months ago, and it was a happy accident that they matched the new coat. Crisp temps brought a flurry of knitting and at long last finished woolen hat and mittens! So much better than half-knit mittens sitting in the closet. And there was daylight for pictures at the bus stop once again!
